No. 22
Today is the day of 22. Its a number that probably signifies that one is past the 'era' of being 'young'.. and entering the stage of what most ppl call... 'old'.
haha..
It was a normal (stressful) day at school.. finishing up online quizzes.. studying for the approaching exams.. all that. Went to school at 11am and finished at 4pm.. after which i went down to the Post office to pay my telephone bills.. and check on 'THE PARCEL!' (which is still nowhere in sight...sigh.... 3 weeks..)
Waited for Hafiz to return home before we made our way to Mikasa @ Karawara at around 6pm to have our dinner~ The place there loOks great (and modern) now~ haha.. haven't been to Mikasa since the place closed for renovation~ The foOd still tastes great and price didn't increase toO~ =)

Oh, its a place that sells jap foOd~ Not bad lo~ *yuM yuM~
. *yuM Chicken Katsudon .
We took a walk around coles after dinner.. see how much the place has changed.. and indeed it looks much nicer now~ They really did a number on the place. We tried to resist.. but in the end we bought some stuff from there~ haha. I got myself a bag of "Redrock Deli" potatoe chips (*yummy Honey Soy Chicken flavour), a pack of Snickers and a box of my fav. Kellogs Nutri-Grain cereal! haha~ =P
Took a slow walk back home thereafter.. the night was cold.. lucky we brought our jackets along. The one thing i love about this place.. is the friendliness of most of the ppl here~ And that point was proven yet again as we walked home - We made way for 2 bikers to ride past us.. on two separate occasions.. and both of them courteously said "thanks mate" as they rode passed. Such "random-friendliness" as i call it, is hard to come by in Sg. Simple acts of gratitude~
But the best part of the day had not even begun~
Reached home around 7-ish~ I put away my stuff nicely.. hung my jacket.. and sat down next to my laptop~ Chatted with my "mei mei" here in perth..
Suddenly.. hafiz knocked on my door and called "brudder?" - I went to the door and guess what? - He was holding a 'Queen Silvia' chocolate cake in his hands! - Candles lit.. Together with the words "Happy Birthday" on it. omG... i was soO shocked and stunned. o.O
It was something that TOTALLY and ABSOLUTELY took mE COMPLETELY by surprise! I mean.. usually u can roughly guess or suspect if ur friends are gonna throw u a surprise.. but this was a total shocker. We ate the cake.. and moments later he popped into his room and back.. holding a bag.. "for you bro." I was like... Holy cow! You even got me a lil' gift?? ..with a card inside as well! =O
And he did all this by himself.. 1 man.. with the help of no other.
. The cake (Oops.. a chunk has been taken already.. lol) .
Honestly, a true blue bro~ You really made my day bro~ Seriously appreciate all you did man! whoO~ lol

. This was up on Hafiz's room door! i was surprised! (its usually a "Inside", "Not inside" note) .
And soOn after.. my parents called me up to wish me as well~ (on top of the sms which they already sent mE in the morning~). As we talked.. jOannA suddenly msged mE on msn and wished mE toO~ =) Just minutes after.. Faith also msged and wished mE~ ..and then it was VAN the MAN's (ivan) turn! omG.. it was as if they all suddenly remembered and flooded mE. haha~ =P
Awhile later.. winnnnny sms-ed mE and wished mE~ She also said she's gonna organise the dinner for next tuesday~ *sweeeeeet =P And then it was Carine aka Yin Mei~ Wow..
Not to mention.. many also wished mE earlier during the day. (with AnnabellezZ being the lucky one to wish me at the stroke of midnight~ hahaha... =P) - Hey, she said she zhun zhun calculated de.. haha~
Halfway through my phone call with home.. Aaron suddenly appeared in person!! O.O
I mean.. it was already v.late (v.dark) at around 9.30pm.. and he purposely walked all the way from his house 10min away.. to come and wish mE! - with a biFdaY card in hand that read "Express Mail" . hahaha.. My gooDness... it was really kind of him to go all the way out for my biFdaY~ *Thanks bro~!
My my.. it has certainly been a truly satisfying biFdaY (birth-"night" actually lol..) for mE.. even ppl whom i didn't expect to hear from.. did! =)

Sigh.. coz my sister and some of my friends said theY sms-ed mE... but some i didn't receive (those who didn't receive any replies from mE = i didn't get it =\ ).. most likely its this problem.
