An Overdue Post & Many Pics
Well well.. finally I'm back on my blog.. lol. To be honest, I've been rather lazy ever since my trip back to home. For those who are not in-the-know.. I just got back to Singapore last Saturday (24th Nov~). And right now.. I have a STABBIN' throat.. translated.. it means ulcers in my throat. That is probably the worst place to have ulcers.. coz you simply can't eat almost anything. Even water pricks the throat so much.. =\
And it seems I will almost always get it whenever I come back... dunno why.. I hydrate myself well.. take care of myself.. but still it happens. Mother says its most probably due to climate change... well.. I guess she could be right.
But anyway.. on to the more fun stuff.
A few exciting/fun/exhilarating things to note over the course of the weeks behind~
1) First cake made
2) Evette's biFdaY celebrations
3) Second cake made (Eve's cake~)
4) MIKA STUFFSsSSSss~!! whoO hoO~~! =D~~
First on the list: I made my first ever cake just before my exams.. i think that was almost 2 months ago. It was a "Triple Chocolate Cheesecake" ~ got the recipe from Yilin. Many ppl have asked mE.. "why suddenly wanna make cake?". My reply was simple.. "Just felt like it.. suddenly had an interest in it..". And usually their next question would be.. "For a girl is it?.." And my reply would also be simply.. "No." lol~
Well.. to be honest.. I think it turned out pretty well for a first-timer.. taste-wise that is. From the aesthetical point of view... much is to be done. The texture sucked. lol~
One main flaw was attributed to the fact that I didn't have a blender when I did it... so i had to spend hours whiskin' away at the mixtures till my arms grew tired. But unfortunately.. the end result did not really justify the means. lol =\
Nonetheless.. a gD effort I must say (such modesty.. lol)~ =P
Anywho, the second time i tried makin' the cake again was after exams~ This time.. I made sure I got a blender and it turned out sooOOOOOO much nicer.. so much smoother~ I could say.. almost "sell-able?" haha~ =D
I specially made the cake for Evette's biFdaY~ Everybody now.. "awwwww..."~ rofl~
The comments I got from my friends were gD.. and I told them to be honest so I can improve. I believe them... and myself. lol~
I've also decided to make a few more back here in Singapore. 1 for my army mates.. 1 for family and 1 for relatives~ And maybe some for my other friends.. if it permits~
The other fun thing that occured was of coz.. Evette's biFdaY celebrations~ We had a picnic-cum-BBQ out at a park in Mill's point if I'm not wrong. Weather was scorchin'.. I reckon it was about 38 degrees~ And furthermore.. the flies were on a rampage that day! lol.. pestering the shizzle out of us. But nonetheless.. it was all gD~ =)
Finally.. I got the best gift ever when I came back from Perth~ LOTSA MIKA STUFF from mother~ omG.. u had no idea how exhilarated I was. haha~ I have always wanted to get some Mika stuff.. but it's hard to find them here. Even a simple wall poster is difficult to acquire..
And just like that.. mother overwhelmed mE with MORE than I had imagined. lol~
She got them from Shanghai when she went over to catch her Rain concert. So thoughtful of her. She got it for mE while getting her own Rain stuff~ =)

Oh btw.. as my mum put it to mE.. the stuff she got for mE are all "custom made".. She personally chose the pics to be imprinted onto them~ She has fine taste I must say.. haha. =P
